DAILY SCHEDULE

 

The day will start with yoga in the morning to wake up the body, followed by a healthy vegetarian breakfast. Then you will be free to explore and enjoy the island. The lunch will be picnic style or eat at home. We will be back home for a sunset restorative/meditation session, after which a tasty and nutritious dinner will be waiting for you.

The yoga classes will be a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow. The morning practice will focus on waking up the body, linking movement with breath in creative and balanced fun flows, leaving you relaxed yet energyzed. The afternoon practice will be restorative/yin or meditation, to help the mind switch off, make the soul sing and get ready for a good night’s sleep.

All sessions will incorporate pranayama (breathing) and meditation.
Suitable for all levels and adapted if you have any condition.

The teacher

My name is Marta and I am a certified (200 hour) yoga teacher and Pilates mat instructor. I’m also a world traveler, mum and life lover. Yoga is for me the time to discover, through movement and breathing, the amazing things the body can do, to reconnect, look into myself.

Originally from Madrid, I became an islander when I moved to Gran Canaria in 2007. After five years there, I travelled the world and settled on Lanzarote in 2014, where I’ve lived for the past 4 years. La Graciosa has always been my unplug-to-recharge place. So when I found this beautiful house I could only think of hosting a retreat here to share my love for yoga and life with whoever wants to join.
